The body NSW agencies must report all cyber incidents to, through its Cyber Portal, within 24 hours of detection and classification under the NSW Cyber Security Policy 2026-2027; that duty binds agencies, not an AI developer. NSW DCCEEW says it is working with Cyber Security NSW, and with its technology service provider, on the NPWS incident.
