THE RORT · AUSTRALIA'S WATCHDOGSEND A TIP

The Tip Line

If you have seen a rort from the inside, this desk wants the evidence. Signal beats volume.

01 / The channel

tips@therort.com.au
  1. Use a personal device and a personal account, never a work system.
  2. Tell us what happened, who benefits and how you know.
  3. Documents beat descriptions: contracts, invoices, minutes, internal messages.
  4. We verify before we publish. We never name or identify a source unless they ask us, in writing, to be named.
  5. A tip is a lead, never a finding: nothing adverse is published about a named person or organisation on an anonymous tip alone.

We read every submission. We reply only when publication is possible; silence protects you as much as it protects us. This is an ordinary email address, not an encrypted channel.

02 / What makes a case

  1. 01A public costmoney, access or policy moved away from the public
  2. 02A mechanismthe device that moved it: a tax design, a licence, a duopoly, a revolving door
  3. 03A beneficiarythe entity the flow lands on

03 / What we will not do

We do not pay for information. We do not run anonymous attacks on private individuals. We do not publish what we cannot stand behind.
